I created a Google Virtual Tour for Tucannon Cellars and it’s live! They recently renovated the Sugar Pine Barn Event Center, added a stream and upgraded the landscaping. I love sitting on the deck behind the tasting room, glass of wine in hand. It has a large tree growing through the center, providing great shade. But don’t just take my word for it, check out the tour. Or better yet, visit in person to experience it first hand!
Just did a Google Inside View for the Purple Star Winery tasting room in Benton City, WA. Great folks and excellent wine. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it, especially if you’re interested in seeing what a working winery really looks like. Left click and drag to move around the room and click on any of the arrows to move to the next spot. Come on in and look around! They also have a couple of other labels, Native Sun Wines and Muret-Gaston Wines.
I always have a blast when I go to Basel Cellars. It’s a world-class facility, great wine and unrivaled hospitality. This venue is so much more than just a tasting room. They have overnight accommodations, 70,000 gallon pool, private theatre, spa/cabana, killer views of the vineyards and Blue Mts… you get the idea!
I had a great time photographing Kitzke Cellars the other day. They’re nestled among the vineyards and have an amazing view of the Tri-Cities. Don’t miss the lovely secluded patio/tiki bar on the back side. And you couldn’t ask for more charming and gracious hosts than Vickie and Paul Kitzke.
I did a Google night shoot for Henry Earl Cellars in Walla Walla, WA last week and am stoked with the results. This is a gorgeous tasting room in the heart of downtown Walla Walla, all brick and red leather with a secluded upstairs loft and two fireplaces. Not to be missed on any tasting tour of Walla Walla!
I had so much fun shooting this for SkyLite Cellars. Ashley was so easy to work with and Ernie the dog loved the spotlight! This is a special place, with the architecture taking it’s cue from a wine barrel. They have a great outdoor seating area with a fire pit, and a very comfortable secret little room upstairs for some peace and quiet. And winemaker Greg Matiko has been winning lots of awards recently. Be sure to stop by on your way into (or out of) Walla Walla. You won’t be disappointed!
It was so nice to work with Cougar Crest again. I did an interview with owner/winemaker Debbie Hanson a few years ago for idrinkyourwine.com
Since then, they have continued to produce award-winning wine and have added to their collection of Jeffrey Hill original art. It was a joy to produce this Google Street View | Trusted panoramic interactive virtual tour for them. Ever wondered what it’s like down in the Library? I was allowed to panorama down into it. Check it out! I even rather enjoyed having to come back in the afternoon to finish up the outdoor shots. Not to be missed on Old Hiway 12 at Frenchtown Rd.
Best experienced full screen – click on the chevrons to move around the room, left click and hold while panning, scroll to zoom
The Emerald of Siam was voted best nightlife venue in the Tri Cities for 2014, and I can personally vouch for the good times to be had there… Always top notch bands in many different genres and a dinner show most nights.
Kiona Winery is one of the oldest on Red Mountain with a stunning tasting room and incredible views. I also really like the wine, my current favorite being the Cyclops II red blend
I had so much fun doing this shoot for Larry and Jane Pearson up at Tapteil. If you’ve never been to their tasting room up on Red Mountain, maybe this will give you some incentive to go. Absolutely astounding view of the Yakima Valley with the Horse Heaven Hills in the back ground… And the wine is really good. I’m especially fond of their Syrah and the GSM (soldout)
I went out for some R&R and a little networking yesterday at Basel Cellars in Walla Walla. Thought I might as well do a panorama of the grounds while I was there. What a magnificent venue! Not shown is the huge pool/spa area in the back or the guest accommodations. Thanks to winemaker Brian and hospitality director Woody for showing me such a great time. Look for a full tour of the tasting room soon!
